 Permanent Hair Reduction
Hair grows in cycles and can only be successfully treated during the growth cycle (the Anagen phase). Cycles vary in different areas of the body by ethnic origin, age and hormones. The iPulse system removes hair by creating heat in the hair follicle to disable the cells that cause hair regrowth, while protecting the skin by keeping it at a comfortable temperature. The multi-lamp technology allows larger areas to be treated at once, so you can deliver effective treatments more quickly. |  Acne Treatment
iPulse technology treats the cause of acne beneath the skin’s surface by stimulating the production of natural chemicals that break down acne bacteria. Because they constantly produce the optimal light energy for treatment, the iPulse system doesn’t need filters and delivers the full spectrum of light. This means that the multiple wavelengths of light that stimulate porphyrins can be produced at once. The iPulse system constantly produces the perfect spectrum of light, so vascular and pigmented blemish removal is extremely effective, including removing red patches of skin and fine, broken veins. Intense pulsed light is absorbed by the melanin of the pigmented lesion and the oxyhemoglobin in the fine blood vessels of general redness or broken capillaries. Light that isn’t reflected off the skin scatters beneath the skin surface and is absorbed in the melanin and blood. The melanin is coagulated by the absorbed heat energy and in blood vessels is conducted to the delicate vessel walls (vascular endothelium) whose cells are damaged by the heat causing the vessel to collapse or completely coagulate and eliminates the blemished appearance. |  Reducing the Appearance of Lines and Wrinkles
